RASC News Agency: Reports from Faryab province indicate that a 15-year-old boy was shot by a Taliban member after refusing their illicit demand. On Sunday, November 26th, media sources disclosed that the boy became a target of the Taliban member in retaliation for the killing of Qari Usman, another member of the group. The incident took place in the village of “Khesht Pul” in the Pashtun Kot district of Faryab province. The Taliban members shot the boy, identified as Hedayatullah and a resident of Qara Gul village, after rejecting their illegal request.
Additional sources from Faryab province have also confirmed that Qari Hedayatullah shot the boy after declining the Taliban members’ illicit demand. However, no further information has been provided regarding the whereabouts of the two accused Taliban members responsible for the boy’s demise. Local officials of the Taliban group in Faryab province have remained silent regarding this matter.
It is noteworthy that this incident comes to light amidst allegations of sexual abuse by members of the Taliban group, including their commanders. Despite the group’s claims of preventing moral corruption and illegal activities, reports of their own immoral actions continue to surface. In previous instances of similar incidents involving accusations of moral corruption against Taliban members, some were released without trial after being rearrested.
Furthermore, the Taliban group has consistently ignored the necessity of enforcing the law among their own members, even when they have engaged in unlawful activities within the country.
