RASC News Agency: Recent reports from sources reveal that an elderly man named Abdul Jabar was shot by unidentified gunmen in the village of “Ghoran” in the Gozara district of a specific province. The incident transpired on Thursday night, November 23rd, and was brought to the media’s attention on Saturday, November 25th. Sources have disclosed that the old man was approximately 60 years old.
As of now, the Taliban group in the province has not issued any statement regarding the killing of Abdul Jabar. This is noteworthy considering the significant surge in targeted and enigmatic murders committed by unknown assailants in various provinces of the country, particularly in Herat province. In the most recent case, two Shia religious scholars were shot by unknown gunmen in the Jibryeil district of the same province.
Various sources from different provinces of the country indicate that the perpetrators of these criminal incidents and mysterious murders have managed to elude capture, and there is no institution consistently tracking them down. It is also worth noting that some of these incidents and murders are purportedly executed by members of the Taliban group, contradicting their claims of upholding national security in the country. The escalation of criminal activities, especially targeted and mysterious murders, has raised concerns among the citizens of the country.
The ascendancy of the Taliban in the nation has resulted in a significant upswing in criminal activities. Moreover, the Taliban has displayed a lack of concern for the safety and security of society, neglecting their responsibility to prevent such incidents from occurring within the country.
