RASC News Agency: According to local sources from Daikundi province, the officials of the Taliban group’s education department in this province have imposed new restrictions on the type of clothing worn by male and female students in schools.
According to the sources, the education officials in this province ordered the male students to wear white clothes and caps, and ordered the female students below the sixth grade to wear white veils.
Sources told the media on Tuesday, September 19, that this order was verbally communicated by the education officials of Daikundi province to school principals in this province about three weeks ago.
According to the sources, according to this order, male students in Daikundi schools are required to wear white clothes and hats instead of “school uniform” and female students are required to wear white veils.
It should be mentioned that the Taliban group imposed increasing restrictions on the clothing of citizens, especially women and girls, since their rule over the country.
For more than two years, this group has banned female students from going to school and has imposed restrictions on the education of girls below the sixth grade.
It should be mentioned that the Taliban group had ordered women to cover their faces outside in several orders in different parts of the country and warned in some areas that women should wear veils.
At the same time, this group also banned civil servants from wearing the pants and ordered them to wear Afghanistani clothing in government institutions since retaking the country.
