RASC News Agency: The Association of Diplomats of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has announced that in Afghanistan, under the rule of the Taliban group, the basic rights of all people, especially women, have been confiscated, and the women’s community has faced all kinds of torture and gender discrimination by this group.
In a statement published last night on September 12, this association said that women in Afghanistan are facing full-scale gender apartheid and demanded legal measures from the member states of the Rome Statute to define and recognize this “anti-human situation”.
In a declaration of the Consistency Association of Diplomats of the previous government, it is stated that Afghanistani women want to achieve their rights in the light of Islamic teachings and fundamental human rights.
According to a declaration of this association, the international law and system are committed to protect human dignity and fundamental human values, but the rights of women in Afghanistan under the rule of the Taliban group have been violated in an unimaginable way and they are struggling with full-scale gender apartheid.
With the current situation, according to the Association of Diplomats of the “Islamic Republic of Afghanistan”, at the present time, the international community, especially the countries involved in the affairs of Afghanistan, are still watching, and the agenda and political considerations have led human rights institutions to refuse to recognize gender apartheid.
It should be noted that in recent days, a number of women abroad went on a hunger strike to recognize gender apartheid in Afghanistan under the control of the Taliban group.
This is despite the fact that since the Taliban took control of the country, this group started to apply repressive and violent policies against Afghanistani women and girls.
