RASC News Agency: Local sources in Badakhshan province say that Taliban helicopters have bombed parts of Shuhada district of this province.
Sources on Sunday, August 13 said that sporadic clashes have been going on since yesterday between the Taliban group and the forces of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan in the districts of Shuhada, Drahim and Shiwa.
According to the sources, since two days ago, the Taliban group has been marching to Shuhada district from land and air in order to suppress the forces of the National Resistance Front.
Sources add that yesterday, two helicopters of the Taliban group bombed the village of “Posht Yabab” in Shuhada district with the aim of targeting the strongholds of the National Resistance Front, and there were no casualties.
According to the sources, last night there was a sporadic conflict in the Gharspan Valley of Shuhada, and there is no information about the casualties so far.
These sources also added that the clashes took place in the Badakhshan province between the Taliban group, and due to the disconnection of networks and communications, the details of this conflict are not available.
A source from the Taliban group says that this group has inflicted casualties on the resistance fighters in the air attack in Shuhada, the exact number of which is still unclear.
The sources added that the Taliban group has gathered forces from several districts in order to “unilateralism” the work of the National Resistance Front forces in Shuhada district, which is one of the main centers of this front.
The National Resistance Front and the Taliban have not officially said anything about this.
This is despite the fact that on Monday night, four members of the Taliban group were killed and seven other fighters of this group were captured by the forces of the Afghanistan National Resistance Front led by Ahmad Masoud in this province.
