RASC: According to sources in Kabul city, Taliban group members have arrested a car salesman who is a resident of Rokha district of Panjshir province in Kabul city.
The sources said that the beloved man’s name is Omar and he has been working in car sales for a long time.
Sources say that on Tuesday afternoon, around 20 Taliban gunmen arrested Mr. Omar from Qasaba car dealerships in Kabul city around 2:20 p.m.
Sources have stated that the Taliban first tied Mahboob Omar’s hands, feet and eyes and then threw them into the Ranger car and took them away.
According to the sources, the reason behind Mahboob Omar’s arrest is not clear, and the Taliban did not say anything to his relatives and friends when he was arrested.
One of these sources added: “As far as our knowledge and familiarity with Mahboob Omar is concerned, he is a person whose job is the car business.”
It should be mentioned that recently, the Taliban has recorded several cases of arrest of Panjshir residents, including former military personnel and civilians.
The Taliban group has arrested most of these people from Kabul and Panjshir.
It should be mentioned that the Taliban group mostly arrests the residents of Panjshir on the charge of cooperation with the “Resistance Front”.
Not long ago, in a report, Amnesty International accused the Taliban group of committing war crimes in Panjshir by punishing civilians and extrajudicial executions of prisoners of war.
Agnes Kalamar, Secretary General of Amnesty International, said that the list of war crimes and other violations of international humanitarian rights by the Taliban group in Panjshir is extensive.
