RASC: The local officials of the Taliban group in Laghman province have reported that three people died and 21 others were injured as a result of two traffic accidents on the Kabul-Nangarhar highway.
Yunus Yousafzai, the spokesperson of the Taliban security command in Laghman, says that the first incident took place at around 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 3, near the Red Kanu bridge on the Kabul-Nangarhar highway.
He says that two people died and 21 people were injured in this incident, and the health status of some of the injured is said to be critical.
Yousefzai also added that in another incident, a person who was moving on the side of the road near the Red Kanu Bridge was run over by a car.
This is despite the fact that traffic incidents have taken the lives of the country’s citizens in different places before.
