RASC News Agency: Khalid Amiri, a senior commander of the National Resistance Front (NRF) of Afghanistan, has asserted that the struggle against the Taliban is not merely a choice but an unavoidable destiny for the Afghanistani people. In a statement published on February 2, Amiri reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the resistance, declaring: “Resistance is our destiny, and this struggle will persist.” He further stated: “Those who believe that terror will eternally overshadow this land fail to realize that fear is a fragile construct one that ultimately devours those who seek refuge within it.”
Amiri emphasized that resistance is not an option but an immutable fate, vowing that it will rise against every form of tyranny and oppression, amplifying the call for freedom from Herat to the Hindu Kush and witnessing the resurgence of liberty atop the peaks of the Pamir Mountains. The NRF commander asserted that the fight will continue, and bravery in this cause signals the inevitability of victory. He reiterated that fear is a crumbling foundation, ultimately consuming those who dwell within it. Amiri’s call for resilience and defiance comes as the Taliban marks its third year of authoritarian rule over Afghanistan, enforcing policies that have plunged the nation into deeper repression.
Throughout this period, the National Resistance Front has waged a relentless insurgency, inflicting substantial losses on Taliban forces. The NRF has consistently reiterated its commitment to liberating Afghanistan from Taliban rule. According to the NRF, its fighters have executed over five attacks against Taliban forces in the past month alone, resulting in numerous casualties among the militant ranks.
