RASC News Agency: Amid escalating criminal incidents across various provinces, local sources from Nangarhar report that unidentified individuals have recently killed a man in the province. On Tuesday, July 2, sources informed the media that a man was fatally stabbed by unknown assailants two days ago in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province.
According to these sources, the victim was attacked while returning home, initially sustaining injuries from the assailants and later succumbing to his wounds in the hospital. The sources noted that the deceased was a craftsman, and the motive behind his murder remains unclear. The Taliban has yet to comment on the incident.
It is noteworthy that there has been a significant increase in criminal activities recently, particularly mysterious and targeted killings, armed robberies, and kidnappings in various provinces. In the latest incident, two residents of Jalalabad were killed by unknown gunmen last Saturday. In another case a week prior, a young man was murdered by armed robbers in the province’s capital.
The surge in criminal activities, especially the recent wave of mysterious and targeted killings in Nangarhar, has sparked considerable concern among the province’s residents.
