RASC News Agency: Local sources from Nangarhar Province report that a young man has committed suicide by throwing himself under the tires of a truck. Sources informed the media on Monday, May 27th, that the incident occurred the previous day in the “Dosaraka” area of the Seventh Security District of Jalalabad, the provincial capital.

According to these sources, the young man ended his life due to economic hardships and unemployment by throwing himself under a lorry. The incident has been confirmed by the Taliban, who stated that the man’s body has been transferred to the provincial hospital in Nangarhar.

It is noteworthy that a similar incident occurred in this area nearly a year ago. Since the Taliban regained control of the country, poverty and unemployment rates have surged to unprecedented levels across various provinces.
