National Resistance Front: We Killed Four Taliban Fighters in Takhar

RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan announced in its latest press release that its fighters have killed four Taliban members and injured two others in Takhar province. The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan stated in the press release that at 2:45 PM on Saturday, May 18, its forces attacked a Taliban vehicle 20 meters from the Taliban’s police headquarters in Taloqan, the capital of Takhar province.

 

The statement detailed that the attack targeted a Hilux vehicle, resulting in the destruction of the vehicle and the weapons carried by the Taliban members. The press release emphasized, “In this operation, no harm came to the National Resistance Front forces or civilians.”

 

Local Taliban officials in Takhar province have not yet commented on the incident.

 

Previously, the Afghanistan Freedom Front reported in a press release that they had killed at least three bodyguards of Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, the Taliban leader, near the Shah Do Shamshira Mosque in Kabul.
