RASC News Agency: Following the explosion in western Kabul, reports from the city confirm the deaths of three young men: Mohammad Raihani, Habibullah Nazari, and Abdul Hussain Haidari. Mohammad Raihani, the sole provider for his family of eight, was a dedicated engineering student at Kabul University and worked at a printing house in the city. Habibullah Nazari, another victim, had recently graduated in the field of construction engineering. The explosion occurred on Saturday evening, January 6th, when an explosive attack targeted a civilian vehicle in the western part of Kabul. ISIS claimed responsibility for this heinous act.
While Taliban officials confirmed the deaths of two individuals and injuries to 14 others, the ISIS group reported a death toll of 20 individuals. This devastating explosion has sparked widespread reactions and condemnation. Karim Khalili, the leader of Hezbe Wahdat, called on the Taliban group to identify and bring the perpetrators to justice, emphasizing that those behind these attacks are “terrorists.” If the Taliban refuses to disclose the culprits, they will be considered “criminal accomplices.”
It is worth noting that the area of Dasht-e-Barchi in western Kabul, under the control of the Taliban group, has witnessed numerous deadly incidents. The Khorasan branch of ISIS claimed responsibility for these explosions, primarily targeting gatherings, ceremonies, and educational centers of the Shia and Hazara communities across the country.
